Requirements analysis and specification: Recording of customer requirements and creation of detailed specifications for the development of Wonderware systems (system platform, InTouch, Historian).
Development and customisation of Wonderware applications: Design, development and implementation of SCADA and other Wonderware solutions utilising Wonderware products such as InTouch, System Platform and Historian.
Test and quality management: Carrying out system tests, analysing and rectifying errors and ensuring the high quality of the software solutions developed.
Project management and documentation: Responsibility for the technical management of sub-projects, preparation of project and system documentation and ensuring that schedules and budgets are adhered to.
System maintenance and support: Maintenance and further development of existing SCADA systems, troubleshooting as well as user training and support.
Consultancy and technical support: Advising internal and external stakeholders on the implementation of Wonderware solutions and providing support on technical issues.
Your skills
Completed studies in Automation technologyElectrical engineering, computer science or a comparable qualification
Several years of experience in the development and implementation of Wonderware products
Sound knowledge of automation technology and process control technology
Experience in programming and configuring interfaces between SCADA systems and automation systems (PLCs, MES, ERP)
Confident handling of SQL databases and network technologies
